SIM express 1.0 Quick Guide
General
Hardware requirements
A Mac, with MacOS 8.1, or above, installed. MacOS version 8.6 is recommended.
A cellular phone or other device that has a serial interface and supports the following
AT-standard commands: +CSCS,+CPBS, +CPBR and +CPBW, and is capable of
utilizing the default GSM charset.
In other words just about all cellular phones that have built-in modems, or other
phones with well equipped data-cards.
It is highly recommended that you test this application with your configuration, before
registering. If you have problems, please don’t hesitate to contact us. There are so
many phone manufacturers, phone models and datacards in the market today, that we
are simply unable to test all of them. Your feedback is therefore needed, so that we
can work to improve the SIM express in right way.

The list below consists equipment that has been used during testing process, but it
Macs:
- PowerBook G3 (233 to 500MHz)
- PowerBook 1400 (via cable, infrared is not compatible with cell phones)
- iMac (all models)
- iBook (all models)
- Blue/White G3 400MHz
- Beige G3 350MHz.

- Keyspan Twin
- Entrega 9pin Serial Adapter

- Macintosh Modem Cable with DB25-to-DB9 adapter
- Nokia Cellular Data Card DTP-2
Connection methods:
