This text assumes that you are familiar with ModelWorks (Fischlin et al. 1994). It is highly recommended to read also (Fischlin 1991) and (Thoeny et al. 1994). You should also be able to work with Unix workstations. RASS allows to run interactive ModelWorks Model Definition Programs [MDPs] in batch oriented environments like Unix workstations. The generated results of a batch simulation should be the same as on the interactive RAMSES host, but you have to consider the following aspects: 1) The calculated results don't have to be numerical identical.
