ReadMe ApogeeTechNotes: Duet Update - May 2008 v2 In This Document This document describes the new features, resolved issues and installation procedure for the May 2008 Duet Update. Who Should Update All Duet users should update to the May 2008 versions. Requirements • Macintosh G4 1GHz or faster, G5 or Intel CPU • 1 GB RAM minimum, 2 GB recommended • OS X 10.4.11 or greater must be installed, 10.5.3 is highly recommended • Please check our website for newer versions here: http://www.apogeedigital.com/downloads/documents.php?show=Duet New Features - Apogee Maestro Software • Euphonix EuCon compatibility - it’s now possible to control several Maestro parameters such as input controls, output levels and mixer settings from EuCon-compatible hardware. Resolved Issues • Kernel panic issues resolved with OS X Leopard 10.5.3. • Implemented a work-around to avoid a jump in Output level when opening Steinberg audio applications • Infrequent crashing of Pop-ups or connected audio apps • Mouse motion preference corrected for Output control To Install 1. Download the Duet Update May 2008 file. 2. Double-click on the Duet Software Installer icon to initiate installation, and follow instructions provided by the Installer. 3.
