Description: Bring the relaxing ambience of a crackling fire to your Mac! Campfirez is a realtime fire simulator, complete with authentic sound effects. No need to hunt for firewood, so put away those matches. Start a fire on your screen anytime, without getting burned! Campfirez employs real-time particle animation to create convincing fire simulations. You can set the shape, color, and location in space. The registered version is fully customizable; allowing control of the spread, speed, size, and decay of up to four separate fire emitters. So turn off the lights, pull up a camp chair, and crack open a cold one. Just try not to drop roasted marshmallow goo on your keyboard. Installation Instructions: MacOS X 10.4 or later: Double-click the, "Campfirez.saver" file, and follow the directions to install. To activate the screen saver, go to your System Preferences panel, and select, "Desktop & Screen Saver". Choose the "Campfirez" listing. To edit the screen saver configuration, click the "Options" button. Campfirez Preferences: ABOUT TAB: Displays information about this screensaver, such as help, version, and copyright info. Registration Code: Enter your registration code here, and press your TAB key, to unlock additional features. FIRE SETTINGS TAB: Use this section to customize your fires. Info Tab: Shape: Drag the slider to set the shape of the flame. Creates interesting effects. Color: Sets the color and opacity of the flames. Presets: Choose from a selection of predefined fires to help get you started. Y Pos: Set the vertical position of your fire. Z Pos: Set the depth, (near or far), position of your fire. Smoke Tab: Enable Smoke: If checked, smoke will emit from your fire. Color: Sets the color and opacity of the smoke. Spread: Use the slider to change how the smoke emitter is spread out from the center of the screen, to the edges. Speed: Use the slider to set how fast the smoke emits. Size: Use the slider to change the size of the smoke particles. Decay: Use the slider to set the decay of the smoke particles. Move to the right for less, or the left for more decay.
