1 Welcome to Rhapsody
Welcome to the developer release of Apple’s next-generation OS, code-named
“Rhapsody.” The developer release provides an early look at the technologies
that will provide a strong and flexible computing environment for users in
high-end markets.
System requirements
To use this version of Rhapsody, your computer must have
m a 486, Pentium, or Pentium Pro microprocessor
m ISA, EISA, VL-Bus, or PCI expansion bus
m a 750 MB or larger hard disk
m at least 32 MB of RAM (48 MB is recommended)
m a supported graphics adapter (video display card)
m a supported IDE or SCSI adapter
m IDE or SCSI CD-ROM drive
m one 3.5-inch floppy disk drive
