In order to run an automated batch process with Genuine Fractals, follow these steps. 1. Gather all of the files that you wish to scale using Genuine Fractals into a single folder. Please note, it is important that all of the files you wish to scale have the same file extension. 2. Within Photoshop, create a new Action that performs the following functions A. Open a file in the folder from Step 1 B. From the File menu, choose Automate > Genuine Fractals C. Choose your scaling settings and check the box “Remember Settings” D. Apply the scaling settings. E. Save the file to the desired destination. F. Close the document. G. Stop recording the action 3. In Photoshop, choose File > Automate > Batch... 4. In the Batch dialog, choose the new Action created in step 2 above. A. Be sure to check the box to “Override Action Open Commands” as this will allow the action to scale all of the files in the target folder and not just the original file used to create the Action. B. Set the Destination folder to None. This will be sure to save the files in the folder created when you recorded the Action. You can also access your new scaling Action from Adobe Bridge by choosing Tools > Photoshop > Batch... Preset Image Sizes Genuine Fractals 4.1 has a new pop-up menu that will allow you to choose from a pre- defined list of commonly used scaling settings.
