To use SUM Tools, create a System 6.0.x start-up disk and copy SUM Tools on to it. Then start your Macintosh from this disk whenever SUM Tools is required. All the other functionality of SUM II remains unchanged and fully compatible with System 7. Our quality assurance team has noted that several popular System Enhancements (lNITs) are not compatible with System 7. The SUM Installer is vulnerable to incompatible System Enhancements. To install SUM II under System 7, hold down the shift key while System 7 starts-up. This will temporarily disable all System Enhancements until the next time you start-up.
