FS: 12" PowerBook G4 (867 MHz)

PPCMLA Hardware 1 post Dec 5, 2013
Same one as on 68kmla.

12" PowerBook G4 - 867 MHz, 640 MB RAM, 40 GB hard drive, Combo drive, AirPort Express. Slightly dented front face and left-front corner, but works great. Battery still holds a decent charge, plus have a second battery that holds a slightly less decent charge, but does hold something. With all original packaging. Kind of sad to part with this one - it was my first ever brand-new-purchase Apple hardware product. But it isn't doing me any good sitting around collecting dust. Loaded with original 10.2 restore image updated to 10.2.8. Will include mini-VGA-to-video-out (RCA/S-Video) adapter if I find it before it sells. $75

In testing, the original battery has 479 charge/discharge cycles, and claims to hold a full 5907 mAh charge (claimed 7 hours+ at "minimum power draw" settings, I'm testing it right now.) Second battery has 320 cycles, and holds about 2700 mAh.
Guess it could be a tonne of different cards, just wanted to know if it would be a colorcard of some sort. I bought this SE/30 but it hasn't arrived yet

yes looks like a video card to me... If it was an AUI NIC card, would probably have a BnC Connector as well.

Is there a vendor-specific extension in the System Folder?

is there not any info in the Monitors control panel?

^ Machine did not arrive yet.

I second a video card of sorts. Could be any one of many.

Pretty sure the XCeed card has the video port more towards the center of the machine.

Great thanks guys, I thought since it was a "working" SE/30 that the guy wanted $90 for, since it had the card it might be worth that much on its own. System apparently powers on without issue, will see when it gets here and what the card really is.

Here is the computer all cleaned up, can't see too well with the light. Just using some crap keyboard with it. Unfortunately the system does not detect the hard drive, looks stock, so I assume it is probably dead.

I cannot find any information about this card on Google, only hit was something in German it appears lol

Ya I was noticing that, appears it came out the same year the SE/30 was released. I am not sure why there is hardly any information about this card on the net. Has anyone else seen this card before?

That's more than I could find, thanks for sharing man. Seems to be a very mysterious card.
