I haven't done this before so I'm not just rusty on it, but there's nothing on which rust could have formed.

Although, for 99usd/year, you can get Apple's dotMAC service which includes a syncing tool. Also take a look at the iSync applications, but I think that that's really just the app that you use to perform the .mac data sync.

there are various other apps online, and of course, you could just connect the two machines and copy the data back and forth manually.

Those more in tune with UNIX than I will be able to tell you about shell scripts or whatever you can set up to compress and sync data between
