I've been trying to send a fax from the G4 MDD (OS 10.3.9) with the internal modem but get as far as the system saying "Preparing Fax" and it hangs at that point with the spinning barber pole.

Are there any known issues with the fax software in 10.3.9? "About this Mac" shows the internal modem, though it takes about 30 seconds to find it.
