The WaveLAN cards are a good choice. Another option is the Proxim/Terabeam Skyline. There are drivers that will work with 7.5 on up. That's what's in my 3400s. The cards don't seem to play nice with putting the 'books to sleep, though. About a third of the time, the cards stop working after bringing the 'book out of sleep. Minor annoyance; I can't complain too much, since I got the cards for something like 10 or 15 dollars.
