About
CyberViewer is an extension for Netscape Navigator that keeps a visual history of visited web pages. It displays a floating palette of visited pages, either as thumbnails or a text list. Unlike Netscape's history, entries don't disappear when Navigator is quit, aren't removed by going "back" or closing a browser window, and can be saved for a specified number of days, so the user can easily go back and find the address of a visited page. Palette entries can be double-clicked or dragged to an open browser window to reload a page. Entries may also be dragged from the floating palette to Navigator's Bookmark Window to bookmark specific web pages. In addition, CyberViewer can be configured to alert the user when web pages are done loading by playing a user-specified sound.
