Netscape Hyper Archive As

This AppleScript is for people who are addicted to MIT's Info-Mac HyperArchive, but want to download files from a different (closer) Info-Mac Mirror. Stick it in your Apple Menu and when you find something in the HyperArchive that you want, copy the URL to the clipboard, then run the script. The first time the script runs, configure it with the mirror of your choice. Follow the example.The script then makes Netscape get the file you have selected from the mirror specified. If you want to change the mirror, recompile the script with Script Editor and run again. I could have used the InternetConfig Info-Mac Mirror preferences instead of having to enter the mirror by hand, but I didn't get around to it.
