About
About 'Poppet' Poppet (pronounced 'pop it') is a simple extension which removes what I consider to be an annoying feature of Mac OS 8's Pop-up windows. (A Pop-up window is one which sits at the bottom of the screen with just its title Tab showing.) When a Pop-up window is in its collapsed state, a click on its tab will immediately show the entire contents of the window. This is great. However, when it is in its collapsed state and you try to drag something into it, instead of opening up completely, the Finder opens up (and updates) the window in stages. This makes it really hard to quickly locate the correct item you are trying to drag onto as it has either not been brought on screen yet, or is scrolling away from you whilst you try to catch up with it. Poppet simply forces the Finder to open up a Pop-up window fully in one go when something is being dragged over it. System requirements: * Mac OS 8 or later Thanks Matt Gough
