The SuperDisk! Utilities serve several purposes. They compress SuperDisk! files tighter by trying different compression options and selecting those that offer tighter compression and faster performance; they convert other kinds of compressed files to SuperDisk! compressed files; and they back up your most recently edited files (coming soon.)
