About
This is a paper I recently wrote for a legal seminar on Computers and the Law. The paper is entitled, "A Question of Informational Privacy: The Public Policies of Computer Encryption." The paper discusses: the relationship between the individual and the state; the evolution of a right to informational privacy from a general right to privacy; informational privacy and policing interests in computers; and computer encryption technologies--private-key (DES) and public-key (RSA) cryptography. The paper then applies the relevant public interests to computer encryption technologies. This is a Postcard file; it is a self-standing, read-only file and no application is necessary to read the file. (This BinHex file created by DownLine 1.1)
