PageSpinner 2 is an HTML editor for MacOS that supports HTML 2.0, most parts of HTML 3.2 plus additional Netscape and Explorer extensions and is useful for both the beginner and the more advanced Web author. The editor gives you quick access to often used formatting and also supports interactive help with AppleGuide and an HTML Assistant to help you compose your Web pages. PageSpinner is scriptable with AppleScript, making it possible to take a script-driven approach to creating and updating a site. Included are several scripts that automates tasks and kits for publishing data from popular database applications or from plain text files. Support for extension plug-ins allows users to download new or updated functions and examples from the net. PageSpinner also includes support for the latest Web technologies such as: Cascading Style Sheets, Browser plug-ins, Frames, Java and JavaScript. The editor also supports include files that makes it possible to change common sections in a group of pages by editing a single include file and running a script. Included in the distribution are also additional utilities, examples and plug-ins for using other applications. All menus can also be displayed as floating menu palettes, giving Web developers an easy to use interface with single click access to all functions offered by menus, extensions and scripts.
