OmniObjectMeter 2.5 (v24) Relative to 2.5 beta 2, current as of 80333 Known Issues Using a symbol ordering file during linking will confuse OmniObjectMeter. Setting your Debug build style to not have a symbol ordering file will avoid this issue. General Minor updates to online Help. Turned off some debug logging for release builds. Performance Caches demangled C++ symbol names. Fixed some memory leaks in OOM itself. OOM still can't run on itself, sadly, or this would have been trivial. Interface Zombies are again selected correctly in the UI when hit (with zombie support enabled in preferences). The restart button no longer warns if the target isn't currently running. Use 'Restart' in the warning instead of 'Terminate' if we we are restarting. Also, use sheets for both the restart and terminate warnings. Multiple clicks on the app icon no longer create multiple open panels. Added a 'Send Feedback' menu item. Updated to latest About panel. OmniObjectMeter 2.5 beta 2 (v23) Relative to 2.5 beta 1, current as of r71515 Known Issues Using a symbol ordering file during linking will confuse OmniObjectMeter. Setting your Debug build style to not have a symbol ordering file will avoid this issue. General OmniObjectMeter now requires Mac OS X 10.4. If you still need to test on 10.2 or 10.3, older versions of OmniObjectMeter can be download from ftp.omnigroup.com. Intel Support OmniObjectMeter now (again!) supports running on Intel hardware. Interface The stack outline panel now remembers what settings you had selected on your last usage and restores them. For example, if you'd chosen to see Autorelease events on Live and Dead objects, counting whole instances, these settings will be the default for future stack outline panels. This saves time when you are trying to track down similar problems across multiple classes or runs of the application. OmniObjectMeter 2.5 beta 1 Relative to 2.0, Current as of r69929 Known Issues Using a symbol ordering file during linking will confuse OmniObjectMeter. Interface Unified toolbar for 10.4 New default toolbar layout that makes more sense Fixed labels and shortcuts on various menu items to be more HIG compliant. Flipped restart toolbar image. If you launch OOM and connect to an application that is directly linked to the OOM framework and is paused due to hitting a zombie, the zombie object will be automatically shown in OOM. Stability Fixed a hard-to-duplicate crasher in the communication channel between OOM and the target process. Symbol Gathering C++ symbol names now get …

InterActual Player 1.8 Release Notes Thank you for using the InterActual Player for Macintosh version 1.8. System Requirements - Mac OS X version 10.4 (Tiger), Mac OS X version 10.3 (Panther). More recent versions of Mac OS X may require an update. Please visit http:// support.interactual.com/ for information on updates. - Intel Mac, Power Mac G3, G4 or G5, iMac, eMac, PowerBook G3 or G4, or iBook computer with 128MB of physical RAM. - A DVD-ROM equipped Macintosh with built-in FireWire. - Safari (1.0 or higher) and Microsoft Internet Explorer for Mac OS X (5.2 or higher). Internet Explorer is required for any DVDs that unlock exclusive websites. - Please note: external DVD drives, the original PowerBook G3 and processor upgrade cards are not supported. In order to use this software, your Macintosh must already be able to play back DVDs using the built in Apple DVD Player. The InterActual Player will not add DVD playback capabilities to systems that do not currently support it. DVDs Supported This version of the player will only load the DVD-ROM content from DVD titles that have specialized Macintosh content. A list of these DVDs is maintained on InterActual's Support Website (http://support.interactual.com/). You can use the InterActual Player to play other DVDs, but any (PC-only) ROM content will not be loaded. Browser Support In this latest version of the InterActual Player, the majority of ROM content will load and display within the InterActual Player. If online content is loaded, it will typically be launched in your default web browser as specified in your Internet System Preference. Installing and Running the InterActual Player If you have a DVD with Macintosh content on it: Be sure to quit the Apple DVD Player if it is running (the Apple DVD Player will typically launch automatically upon insertion of a DVD). To install InterActual Player, double click the disc image at the root of the DVD (IAPlayer.dmg) and click “Agree” after you have reviewed the software license agreement. This mounts a new volume on the Apple desktop, called "InterActual_Player". Double click this volume to open it. Drag the InterActual Player icon to a convenient location in your system (for example: the Applications folder or the Desktop). You can now unmount the "InterActual_Player" volume, by hitting the Eject button in the Finder, or dragging to the Eject button on the dock. Double click the InterActual Player icon to launch the software. You can make InterActual Player launch automatically when you insert a DVD by opening your System Preferences and clicking on CDs & DVDs under the Hardware section. Click the drop-down menu next to "When you insert a video DVD:", select "Open other application..." and then locate InterActual_Player. If you are downloading the latest version of the InterActual Player from the web: The latest version of the I…

The pens require two 393 silver oxide batteries. However, there are four battery casings in the pen. You can choose to run the pen with four batteries for longer periods between changes, or run the pen with two batteries and keep the other two as spares. In this case, the two active batteries must be placed adjacent to each other. The spare batteries can be kept inside the battery casing if you reverse the polarities. This way no contact is made and the batteries are preserved. The average battery life is 6-12 months, depending upon use. WARNING: Do not use ZINC AIR batteries as replacement batteries. They will corrode the elec- tronics of the pen. Also, do not store the pen tip down so that the tip is depressed. This will prevent the pen from using the energy-saving sleep mode to prolong battery life. To replace the batteries: ] Unscrew the pen cap. Hold the pen from the bottom and gently slide off the pen cover to expose the batteries. 50508- I REV. B 2 Remove the old batteries by pushing a thin, pointed object through the open slot on the bottom of the battery casing ( see the figure inset). 3 If you wish to use four batteries, position the batteries as they are shown in the figure. If you wish to use two batteries, you must position the batteries in slots 1 and 2 OR in slots 3 and 4 (see the figure). Remove the remaining battery pair, or reverse the polarities for the pair. 4 Replace the pen cover then screw the pen cap onto the pen. 5 Press either side button on the pen. When you replace the pen batteries, the pen will reset to the default frequency. If you changed the fre- quency of the pen before replacing the batteries, you will need t…
