1 Getting Started The eMate Classroom Exchange software allows you to connect one or several eMates to a Mac OS computer and transfer information between the eMate devices and the computer simultaneously. Using the eMate Classroom Exchange software, you can m copy or move information from an eMate to the Mac OS computer m copy information from the computer to an eMate m convert documents to or from Newton Works format on the computer You can convert documents created in word processing and drawing applications that support and have Claris XTND translators, such as the ClarisWorks, MacWrite II, and MacPaint applications. You can also transfer any RTF (rich text format) document. m install packages, such as applications and system updates, from the computer to the eMate How does the software work? The Mac OS computer running the eMate Classroom Exchange software is a “server” to which you connect one or several eMates. A server is a computer on a network that provides a service to others on the network. In this case, the server allows users to transfer documents and install packages. 1 To set up the network, you’ll first need to install the eMate Classroom Exchange software on a Mac OS computer. You can then physically connect the eMates to the computer using cables and start the eMate Classroom Exchange software. You’ll also need to set preferences for the software. These steps are described in the sections that follow. Requirements You’ll need the following hardware and software in order to use the eMate Classroom Exchange software: m The eMate Connectivity CD, where the eMate Classroom Exchange software is stored m A Mac OS computer with the following: m a 68020 processor or better, or a PowerPC™ processor m system software version 7.1 or later m 500K RAM available (750K is needed for PowerPC computers that have virtual memory turned off ) The amount of memory you need depends on the number of eMates you have connected and the amount of information that you’re transferring. m If you’re using an AppleTalk network, you’ll need one LocalTalk connection kit for each eMate you are connecting to the computer and one kit for the computer itself. m If you’re using a serial connection to connect one eMate to the computer, you’ll need a serial cable with a DIN-8 connector on each end. m One or more eMates (The number of eMates you can connect and the rate of …

eZediaMotion TM 1.0.1 for iMovie TM eZediaMotion TM gives iMovie users the ability to animate media—text, graphics, and movies—over a DV clip. Users can create sophisticated custom titling, rotate images, scale video, and much more. This tutorial is divided into 2 portions: 1) Adding an eZediaMotion effect 2) Editing eZediaMotion options Adding an eZediaMotion effect Up to 10 different layers of graphics, movies, or text can be positioned over an iMovie clip, to create the eZediaMotion effect. Each piece of media sits in its own layer and can be attached to a path, providing animation. The first layer created is closest to the iMovie clip. Subsequent layers are “stacked” over previous layers. Create the layers in the order that you require them, as the layers cannot be re-ordered. The procedure to add an eZediaMotion effect to your iMovie clip is: 1 Create or open your iMovie project. For more information on working with iMovie, refer to the iMovie electronic help system. 2 In the clip viewer, select the clip that you want to add an eZediaMotion effect onto. 3 Click the Effects button. Jim Plamondon 191 Langston St. Upland, CA 91786 USA You will receive in the mail a serial number that when entered will allow you to play all 20 of the levels. 3. Game play- You control the F-15 which can be moved throughout the game play area. Various enemy planes will appear from any of the four surrounding sides. If the your F-15 is positioned in front of an enemy plane, the enemy plane will fire a shot at you. There are two exceptions to this. The Tu-22 and Tu-95 have guns mounted in their tails and will fire if your F-15 is positioned behind them. Enemy fire has the appearance of a small red sphere. Avoid the enemy fire by maneuvering around them. In addition to avoiding the enemy fire, you need to worry about colliding with the enemy planes themselves. If you collide with either an enemy or gun fire from an enemy you will lose a life. Lose all of your lives and the game is over. Fire your missiles at the enemy planes to destroy them. You also have the option of using nukes. Firing a nuke will instantly destroy all enemy planes and all enemy fire which is on the screen at the time that it is used. Nukes are limited and should be used when you get into trouble. Note that there are some situations in which the only way to escape without losing a life is by using a nuke. 4. The mouse uses absolute positioning. ThrustMaster- To use your ThustMaster joystick select ‘ThrustMaster’ from the ‘Controls’ manual. If possible, set your joystick to act in “absolute mouse” mode and select ‘Mouse’ from the ‘Controls’ menu. 5. Status indicators- At the bottom left of the game screen will be your extra lives indicators. The extra lives indicators appear as blue spheres with a a small F-15. Some people are susceptible to epileptic seizures or loss of consciousness when exposed to certain flashing lights or light patterns in everyday life. Such people may have a seizure while watching certain television images or playing certain video games. This may happen even if the person has no medical history of epilepsy or has had never any epilieptic seizures. If you or anyone in your family has ever had symptoms related to epilepsy (seizures or loss of consciousness) when exposed to flashing lights consult your doctor prior to playing. We advise that parents should monitor the use of video games by their children. After numerous wars and several environmental disasters, only two world powers remain; the United Civilized States (UCS) covering the American continent, Western Europe and North Africa, and the Eurasian Dynasty (ED) covering the coherent landmasses of Eastern Europe and Asia. The damage caused by the long wars led both world powers to evacuate the population to recently built underground cities. Australia and most parts of Africa were sacrificed during the long wars, which lasted several decades. Highly toxic biological and chemical weapons were developed on these continents, leaving them so badly contaminated, that no human life can survive there. Not even the use of robots and machines is possible. The general opinion was that these continents would forever remain uninhabitable, and they were wiped from every map. Most of the world's population forgot that this land…
