Genetic experiments by the humans brought the Nanosaurs back from extinction and gave them intelligence, but a plague wiped out the humans so the Nanosaurs built a society of their own. In an attempt to further strengthen the dinosaur society, you are being sent back in time to retrieve dinosaur eggs of five species before the giant asteroid wipes them out. THE NANOSAUR You are equipped with a Jetpack, a K88 Multi-Purpose Cannon, a GPS map locator, and a Temporal Compass for locating time portals. You have a limited amount of ammunition for your weapon, but you can gather additional ammunition that was left behind by your predecessors who failed this mission. Your jetpack has been specially equipped to be able to refuel from gas vents found near volcanic areas. When you locate an egg, you must pick it up, and deposit it in a time portal. The time portals will appear at regular intervals and your temporal compass will aim you at the nearest active portal. Once all of the eggs have been transported to the future, your mission will be a success! PLAYING THE GAME THE KEY CONTROLS The following are the key controls you use to play the game. Most of these are explained in more detail later in this manual. Arrows - turn & move < > - spin the camera around 1 2 - zoom camera in/out Command - jump / double-jump SpaceBar - attack Shift - use next weapon Option - Pick up / throw item A Z - increase / decrease jetpack thrust Ctrl-M - toggle music on/off Ctrl-B - toggle ambient sound on/off +/- - raise/lower volume F8 - show frame rate ESC - pause game TAB - change camera modes (normal/head-cam) G - toggle GPS map Command-Q - quit the application at any time MOVING THE NANOSAUR Controlling the Nanosaur is fairly simple. Use the arrow keys to move forward and backward, and to turn left and right. The Command key causes the Nanosaur to jump, and you can also do a “double-jump” by pressing the Command key again at the apex of the first jump. A double jump will cause the Nanosaur to jump extra high, but the trick is in timing the second press of the Option key. THE WEAPONS When the game starts, you only have ammunition for one weapon: the Blaster. Each time you fire your weapon, you will lose one round of ammunition and once you run out of ammo, you will not be able to attack until you get more. Ammunition for the various …

Europa Univeralis III Napoleon’s Ambition Expansion User Guide Introduction About this guide As the title says, this is a user guide not a manual. Throughout this guide it will be assumed that you are already familiar with the Europa Universalis III manual. However, to aid you the content will be in exactly the same order as it appears in the original manual. The sections will focus solely on what has changed rather than duplicate the original manual. Should a section be missing then there have been no changes in the expansion pack. Overview Napoleon’s Ambition is the expansion pack to Europa Universalis III. On a fundamental level the game remains unchanged. Napoleon’s Ambition is an expansion rather than a sequel, so this title seeks to add more depth to the Europa Universalis experience, rather than create a whole new gameplay experience. Napoleon’s Ambition now extends the timeframe of the game with a new end date of December 1820. The game features additional events and mechanisms to help simulate the Napoleonic era. 1 Starting a Game Single Player A new feature here is an additional button in the bottom corner called options. There are a number of additional options available for the game. Some of these aren’t supported in the main game and have only been included to give those that wish to create user mods greater flexibility. The options that are not currently supported in the standard version will be stated. Rulers/Advisors/Leaders In each of these three categories you have three options: normal, historical and event. Normal uses the original system. The historical option means that the arrival of rulers, advisors and leaders are governed by the dates set in the relevant files (as are their stats). In the case of rulers this also means that your government type will also be changed on the historical date as well. Selecting the idea Quest for the New World with historical leaders will not allow you to recruit explorers and conquistadors, you will still have to wait for them to appear. The event option has rulers, advisors or leaders created by events. However 2 this option is not supported in current game and has been included as an additional option for people who wish to Mod the game. Merchants/Colonists/Missionaries/Spies Here you have the option of setting the cost for these actions to nothing, or pay the standard cost. Note this does not change the requirement to have a free merchant, colonist, missionary or spy available. It is just the monetary cost that is removed. Inflation There are 3 sources of inflation in the game: minting money, owning gold provinces and events. Using this option will not change the inflation effects in events.
