I found an Apple PowerCD player at a flea market today for $2 (talked down from $5). No base, ac adapter or remote. I'll have to see if it works.
Eek - you need the base. The base provides power and SCSI to the PowerCD (the DB-25 connector on the PowerCD itself is a proprietary mixture of power and SCSI - do not connect a SCSI cable directly to it), sadly the PowerCD is completely useless without the base.
Best of luck finding one.

Yeah, I figured that out after I posted here. Oh well. It IS cool looking though.
Someone posted a link to the pinout here recently
cool, I will check it out! I'm always ready for a new project.
Thanks, Bunsen. I don't care what they say about you, you're a good guy. [

I'm really a bisexual dwarf mixed-race post-op trannie quadriplegic with a learning disorder and social phobia. But hey, at least I get to park close to the shops.
And the race I'm mixed with is whale. AaaaOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooo...

Also, I think it's hilarious that he talked the guy down from $5.
