Subwoofers Inside Macs

Subwoofers Inside Macs PowerPC 5 posts Sep 14, 2014 — Nov 19, 2014
Any Mac's other then the PM6400/6500 Come with a Sub inside?

Don't think so, IIRC only those had one, and very few were supplied with a Sub anyway (thinking about the TAM)

I had a 6500 for a very short period, the sound was impressive.

I recall the Powerbook 3400c was advertised having a so-called "subwoofer" behind it's screen, but that was technically incorrect as it was only 4-speaker sound.  Still, the 3400 pumps out probably the best quality sound I've ever heard in a portable.

The original PB G3 had the same "subwoofer" system as well, although in a technical sense they're more like two small speakers and not really subs.
The sub is one of the reasons I want one of these.
