Looking for a dead SE (or SE case)
Hey all, I am on the hunt for a Macintosh SE case for my next project. I want to put my Mac Mini into one so It will fit my retro themed media room. I know it has been done before, but I want to do it anyway. :beige:
I only have one Compact mac and it is a 128k which is one used logic board from perfection. So I am not touching it.
I decided an SE was the best choice because I could easily stealth in a slot loading disk drive. (also, if you have a CRT with an intact front so I could cut it out and put an LCD in it that would be great.)
Pleas let me know if you have anything!

Putting your location in your profile or posting would help
Wow, what technology is available to you in order to cut through 0.25" of glass? Glass with a nasty coating of heavy metals? I don't doubt that it may be possible at home, but why not think about a more humanly friendly solution?also, if you have a CRT with an intact front so I could cut it out and put an LCD in it that would be great
I guess it would sorry :I I updated it in the CP, but I am in Canton Ohio. I will pay shipping as needed however.Putting your location in your profile or posting would help

Friends who are glass artists.
(He's a glass blower, but he's cut CRT's before while in a filtered tent thing)
I have a dead Mac Plus with no CRT if that will help you. Imagine a Plus with new holes!
I'm in Palmdale, CA. PM if interested.
