Damn! The Q700 is the one Q that I want to complete the IIcx/IIci/Q700 series. Well, I would not mind two. But this is a great find - Uniserver! I'm jealous! LOL!

Just for kicks, here's a 1080p capture of Nedry at his desk. Definitely another Q700 with a SuperMac 17" CRT. There are actually two monitors plugged into the Quadra... or, if there's another Mac there, we can't see it.
The other computer is a Silicon Graphics workstation. The black & white photo of the man smoking the pipe is J. Robert Oppenheimer, the creator of the atomic bomb. In other screen grabs, you can see the top right post-it on Oppenheimer's picture reads "BEGINNING OF THE BABY BOOM". The other one is a thought bubble of a sketched nuclear explosion/mushroom cloud. Interesting.
"Nedry" is an anagram of "nerdy." Might have something to do with the words on the yellow pad, which read ""NERD ENTER OF...<hidden>".
Here's what I found about the gray tablet-looking device next to his elbow: It's the design mock up from the final presentation to Motorola for the iRadio (name later changed to Envoy). It was designed by frogdesign in California. The head of frogdesign, Hartmut Esslinger, met Spielberg on a plane and showed him this mockup. Steven asked if it could be used as a prop in the film, and Hartmut gave it to him. There were three configurations proposed, and this one was the one that Motorola had chosen to pursue. An antenna was added later.
The little orange alien-looking thing is a "Panic Pete," a squeezable stress-relieving toy.
There was $875,000 worth of Silicone Graphics hardware, $350,000 from Apple, and $500,000 in additional hardware and software to equip and run the control room.

This picture shows the 2nd Mac monitor. The resolution isn't very high, which suggests there's a video card in that Quadra that supports 2 screens.
The "security cam feed" is actually a pre-recorded QuickTime video, since there was no streaming video in 1993. QuickTime had just come out about a year and a half earlier.
The red LEDs in the background are actually part of a Thinking Machines CM-5 supercomputer.
The animated image with Nedry's big head on it that taunts Samuel L. Jackson ("ah, ah, ah, you didn't say the magic word!") is a cartoon of a chunky Elvis Presley in his famous white outfit with the word "King" in red script across his chest.
It's 2 separate Macs. When a Mac uses a second monitor, the Menu Bar is only on one of the screen. Here both monitors have menu bars.
Well they have everything gone off the menu bar, and you would have to do that programatically. So the running program would have to do that.

As for more movie trivia, watch the scene where Arnold is describing whtrbt.obj, and look at the Quadra; they unhooked it and placed it on its face so you didn't see the back of it. So, most likely, they're staring at a blank monitor.

Continuing the JP related fun, when Lex is rebooting the system if you catch the volume name it's "Nedryland JP" but back in the days before HD a quick glance and you would have thought it was "Nerdyland JP"

I remember looking at that when this first came out and thinking "That looks like they're just playing a video. A live stream wouldn't have a defined end"

I kind of want to play "spot the other interesting things in uni's office"...I can see a Portable, what looks like a CCII/Performa 52x/55x board, some PowerComputing stuff, a few IIsi machines, and a mix of pizzabox Macs.

One thing I want to warn you about is that Quadras will breed if left in dark spaces.
That's why mine are trapped under a shelf surrounding the plotter/entertainment center. Supporting it keeps the Trio separated by at least two feet at all times. But the 32" HDTV only comes off the TelCo Rack center in the bedroom when friends are over for movies . . .
. . . so I have to keep the 30" carpenter's toolbox in its place to keep them in place. :

Man I wish I had extra funds. A souped up Q700 is really the only other Mac I want.
jt you should share a picture of your q700 high heeled feets, i think they got lost the the forum last year.
Yup to each is own, but i always liked the quadra 700.
Just a few minor drawbacks are:
it only has (4) 30 pin ram slots.
pretty much stuck at 25mhz, you can OC them a little but its not that significant
apparently, a Quadra 650 MB will drop right into a Q700 case
and if one were to solder in a rom simm...
and image a Rob Braun Image to a Dougg3 simm.
you can achieve 512 megs of ram!!!!!!! sickness.
