....That my 5500/250 is alive and well! The transplant was a success.

Yes, the time is wrong. I still need to get a battery, but the little box ones are expensive.

Glad to help! Regarding the battery, you know you can make one with AA batteries and a diode:

This is a picture of my motherboard from some random machine that was in the trash which I adapted to run in a Quadra 630 case (which had no motherboard). You can see the 3.3 volt regulator's heat sink under the batteries.
