Fun at the local auction
Woohoo! 50 MHz too. Very nice.Found a couple of Daystar's, a 68030 in one of the IIci's
Is there a cache module on the back? It connects to that header strip at the top of the card. And a 68040 (on a riser) in one of the IIsi's
Can you upgrade the cacheless version with a full 040? Or do you need the cache card?
An '040 is an '040, and the full version is pin compatible with the LC version, so why not?

Such a cool find. I did a tear down on one of those Mac II 5.25" HDDs. Huge, and they get so hot. It wasn't working, so no harm taking it apart. When we opened it and powered it up the head arm freaked out so much it snapped one of the heads off. Hilarious. Unfortunately that was the only bit I didn't get on video.
You've got a lot to do
, but if you get the chance please report on the amount and type of memory in the Mac IIs. Both LazarusNine and I would be interested in knowing.

Awesome, awesome find. The upgrades and service parts sure make it even more interesting!!
Wow now that's a score!!! I already have problems stocking ~45 Macs + a bit less than the same amount of other computers.
