Laserwriter 320, etc. Peripherals 3 posts May 25, 2007 — May 27, 2007
I picked up a fully functional Laserwriter 320 today with cables and a good toner cartridge for $10 from a local Craigslist post. Also included where a selection of CDs and manuals.

Does the 320 have a real on/off switch, or does it go into a low power sleep mode and shut off the fixer roll heater after being idle for a long time? I'm using the Personal LaserWriter LS that has the on/off switch that guarantees no phantom power drain when not in use, but only provided that I remember to turn it off!

No switch. Only sleep mode. I have a 4/600 as well. It is almost the same printer as the 320. It also has a sleep mode and use it often without any problems.
