Portmapping with ABS
I am trying to let my Mac OS X Server machine with wireless internet server up page online. I do not have a domain name, but I have the Aiport Portmapping settings set for port 80. Still when anyone, not just me trys to go to my IP address it will not work. I know my server works fine on the LAN, but not outside of it. Anybody know how to fix this, or why Airport would do it?

Can you read or not? 
I have Airport with Port mapping ON!! using port 80, just like you said. But it will not work!!! Try reading my post before posting an answer.

Excuse me but even if you have port mapping on doesn't mean that you've set it up correctly.
Which must be the case since it's not working for you! 
Try not to be so short with people and you might get even more help. I've never been short with one person on this board and hate to see someone being that way with me. I posted that message late after doing lots of research on my own Airport port mapping issue and appoligize for not at least giving you a smiley face so that you would understand that I am friend not foe. In the future I will not respond to one of your post unless I have more time to be a bit more clear. I did at least give you a couple links that I thought would be very helpful, which seems to be a lot more than anyone else has given you. The Apple message board seems to have lots more information on port mapping than MacNN.
I can tell you this: Apple's port mapping is not very good at this point and probable needs a firmware update to fix it. I have mine set up correctly and strangly enough I can host an online game but can not join one. Your a bit of a gamer, maybe you have an answer for that?
Again, there are some topics over at Apple message boards that will probable be pretty helpful if you cared to look.

Well your reply didn't really help me much, before I came here I checked out Apple's boards for 1 month. Almost nobody was able to get portmapping working for web sites, only games and stuff. I do have port mapping set up for Warcraft 3, and that works perfectly. I do not see why the web sharing will not outside of my LAN. By the way, one simple question that nobody has ever answered, when going to airport's IP address, which one do you use, the Interenet one, or the Base station IP, they are both different for me.

I'm sorry that I can't help you more, I too am frustrated by the port mapping issues of the Airport. I would assume you would use the Airport IP that would be basiclly fowarding the Internet IP, right? God I hate that Apple has made this so difficult. I hear so many having such easy success with other brands of Routers.
One question: I've been trying to get Hornet Korea to work over at Game Ranger. I believe that I have port mapping set up properly for Korea but it's still not playing as it should over at Game Ranger. By porting Korea's port number I am only able to host a game and not join (they can see me but I can't see them). Doesn't make a lot of since to me. I stopped in at an Apple Store last night to ask about port mapping and if they could shed some light on the issue I'm having. However, I got the impression that I knew more about port mapping than the tech. Scary I know!
I've set up the Airport as follows: Network panel set to Airport - Manually - IP Address 10.0.1.201 Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0 Router 10.0.1.1 Proper DNS Server number for my ISP (I've also used the Airport Router address as the DNS # but it worked just the same) and Domain Name for my ISP.
Airport Admin Utility Port Mapping settings: Public Port 2481, Private IP Address 10.0.1.201, Pirvate Port 2481.
Is this the way you set up for Warcraft games?
No, I am not Ryan Woodward. Your port mapping problem seems to be pretty much the same as mine, but with different ports/applications.

I fixed mine. I just turned off the firewall. Oh well, so AT&T can see both our computers now. Guess it doesn't matter since it states in the user agreement that you can have up to 5 computers hooked up in one house.
