yea mine has component video but that doesnt mean that it has progressive scan... i only have one set of components and that runs to my dvd player but i dont think that it would matter that much anyway and since i already bought the 80 dollar component video cords for my dvd player i think i will leave it set up like it is... i will probably get teh svideo adapter for the gamecube tho

it's WEGA isen't it? with the W. i am looking into buying a 27" sony wega tv and it looks EXACTLY like that.... plus i got a good price ($480 shipped i think) $499 in stores +tax.... so yeah....

yea i think it just looks like wega but it actually just two Vs hooked together kinda... all graphic like or something

i have a model a little more ahead of you it is the fs300... it just has more powerful speakers(i dont have surround sound) and more combfilters and stuff like that... i got a floor model and it will still like $700... i love it tho and would highly recomend it to anyone

I thought your TV just needed the component jacks to support progressive scan? You enable the progressive scan when you start your GameCube with everything hooked up (component cables, audio) and the signal is sent to the TV? How exactly do you find out if the TV you're getting supports progressive scan, then? I almost bought it because I wanted to play in progressive scan. It was $398.

And there's my home theater setup (Sorry..I don't do console gaming).
It consists of a 27" RCA ColorTrak 2000 (1991 vintage, but I picked it up for $50 and it has multiple RCA inputs and an S-Video input in addition to coax, so it suits my needs fine for now), a Samsung DVD-V1000 DVD/VCR combo (an overall nifty gadget, though the UI could use some work), and a Kenwood 600 Watt Dolby Digital/DTS receiver with matching 5.1 speaker system.


...and I have no idea what's on the TV -- one of my housemates was watching it when I took this picture.

Ok I just got this new Netgear Router that looks sexy above the mag holder. I hated the linkSys I had.

My scanner is on the shelf of the bottom right and my Firewire Zip, Orb Drive, Compact Flash reader, and QPS burner is on the right shelf bellow the Woofur. The Epson C80 printer is far to the right and you can't see it in the pict.

The theater is the usual who-ha. HDTV, 5.1 souround 100 watts per channel bla bla... I will try t take more picts of it tomorrow.

Game systems: Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, GAMECUBE, Playstation 2, Gameboy, Gameboy advance and about 150 games between them.
