Wow - THIS should have been the standard Aqua interface

From all the PC Aqua ripoffs i've seen, that one is the most hideous. Poor guys, they just have no sense of taste or design.

Isabella: Well, I had the Squa theme when I was on my PC. It's nice. I liked it. In fact, I've asked the themers in the GUI forum to port over the these cursors
but many had a strong distaste for them. I'm not sure if it's because it came from Windows. I appreciate themes and use them to replace my GUI. Right now I use Max Rudberg's Milk 1.5. It's sweet. So I don't think my taste is that way off. Not sure why there is such animosity towards the Squa theme/cursors.

That is a mix between Aqua and the XP Sosumi scheme. I have seen it before.

I dunno, I like the widgets. It could get a little annoying, but I prefer the square to the circular I think. Scroll bars are a little odd...It would be interesting to see that kind of theme ported.

But geez the Mandrake & general linux folk could sure learn from those checkboxes. I'm continualy second guessing myself, "Does dark grey mean it's enabled and light grey mean it's not? Other way around? Ghaaa!"

Either U guys are idiots or old farts to put it bluntly.... The theme looks real nice. If someone had made it for the mac first U would have liked it....

Nope this theme is a very bad mix of colors ( purple, green, blue, grey, white stripes,... ), ugly icons and aqua. It doesn't even look like a real theme just pieces of other themes quickly thrown together.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...


but in this case, I behold nothing of beauty. Very happy with the standard Aqua in comparison to this theme.

It looks too cartoony, you know with an outline around every single element.

Look at the scroll "arrows", they make absolutely no sense. And dont try to make an argument like ,"just because they dont look like a scroll arrow doesnt make them bad, its pushing the idea of design standards"... because your right, its pushing the idea of a design standard right into the area of incomprehension. When something (such as the scroll arrows) differs from anything else available just for the sake of being different, THAT is amateurish. Sometimes doing something because no one elese is doing it is a bad a idea, especially when no one else is doing it for good reasons.

That theme is horrible. But, thats just my opinion.

This theme definitely sucks. There's nothing attractive about it.

Okay, I give in, U guys are right and I'm wrong twice (for the theme and the pissy mood)...
The theme is ugly because not well finished and a little mixed up (stripes and none stripes) but the idea is cool... A squared aqua.

I love all these themes we have but somehow I always go back to Smoothstripes. The only thing that bothers me though in it is the Rounded lickable scroll bars, tabs and buttons... my two cents
