Adding languages... Development 2 posts Jan 1, 2003 — Jan 2, 2003
I want to add a language to OS X and localize some parts of it. But I don't know which files I have to edit. I know there's a folder with language description files in the Foundation Framework and files with country codes and language names in the International Framework but it seems to me that there are more files I have to edit because I can't find a file where the localized names of the languages are stored... Does anybode know how to add a language or dialect to OS X. I want to select this language under "Syste, Perefences -> International -> Edit ..."

Any ideas how to do this ?
I found a bit of stuff, but nothing that I wanted to customize. I really want to change the appearance of the flags that appear in the menu for this. I know it can be done since developers add them. I'm just not sure where these resources are kept.
