Bush: Maybe if I concentrate real hard, I can absorb some of brain power, and I can speak like that too.
He shure is purdy

"I love you, Toni."
W to himself: "Just nod and purtend to understand this fancy talker. Remember to answer everything with 'our cause is just'."
Yeah, Bush needs to lie more, and bite his lower lip, and stick out his thumb alot. People respect that sort of thing.

Zim, with your propensity for using , it would be a good idea to not poke fun at Bill's thumb sticking... it almost seems like this post is describing yourself.

Most of the time me using the is done out of sarcasm.

Clinton did it trying to be sincere.

I'm not the only one who's noticed this? A few weeks back, slow day at work, I decided to count the number of 's Zim uses. It turned out lower than I thought, but still alot. A full two-thirds of Zim's posts use the (did I say it was a slow day at work?)

No, I just thought the particular photo was funny. You can put whaterver spin on it that you choose. And lets face it, GW ain't the best public speaker.

Though I did find your caption amusing, I wanted to clarify why I started the thread.

Boots to clarify, that statement wasn't about this thread. I realize, it's comedy.

This forum cracks me up sometimes with pettiness like this.

Don't you mean: "This forum cracks me up sometimes with pettiness like this. "

Not petty...just a humorous observation on a really slow day at work...sheesh

[edit: stupid typos]

Ah, sorry then. I apologize.

quite a few things come to mind...

1. Bush's monologue.... "That's a good boy"

2. Blaire saying.... "He can't read"

3. Bush's monologue "I'm watching you"

4.Blaire saying... "Our relationship is strictly sexual, and does not influence our political lives."

I thought I was done looking like an idiot when I finished the last debate with Gore. At least he was so stiff people ignored him.

Bush may head up the larger and more powerful nation, but Bush's mental stature is nothing compared to Blair's. It's a pitty national muscle makes him the junior partner in this thing.

I think he just needs to bang some interns, and everyone will be jealous and respect him.

At what point in the 21st century do you think republicans will stop taking shots at Clinton? Should we have a pool?

Honest to God, I've never seen a group so threatened by one individual.

On the one hand, I realize you are right. Republicans take shots at Clinton all the time.

But, on the other hand, he deserved just as much as Bush does, and Dems take their own shots at W too - probably just as much or more.

It is because each have encroached on the center so much. Dems think that Bush is actually way right and that is partly true, but he is also preempting their moderate policies and stealing their thunder. Clinton did exactly the same thing.

Oh, I agree. Though the Republican's really made an art of targeted political attacks (i.e. impeachment). It's just that Dubya is fair game now. He's in power. Clinton's just plays golf. Let it go.

I almost can't wait for 2008 when Hillary gets in the race. You can almost envision the hair standing up on right-wingers backs. Like a house cat when a neighbor's dog is around.

Hell's yeah! I'll be donating all of my money to organizations that hope to defeat her - not really, but I will definitely have 'hair standing up'. My friends here at school joke with me all the time about Hillary becoming our best president, and one of them kept suggesting that he would nominate her to deliver the commencement speech at our graduation (He's the class president, so he could just do it). But, alas, we just got word today that some land mine protestor is doing the speech - good enough for me.

Hillary scares the bejeezus out of me. Did you see the woman leaving the swearing in ceremony in 2001? She was standing right behind the podium with this sick grin on her face, as if she were thinking, "It will be great when I'm finally here!"

But, you are right, Bush is much fairer game than Clinton, though dems at my school are always cracking on Reagan and GHWB. Anyway, I'm much more comfortable saying nice things about Clinton. Thank God for term limits!

Probably at the same time Democrats stop making jabs at Reagan.

Clinton was the last Dem Pres, it hasn't been that long ago.
Um...Reagan wasn't the last Republican president.

HOW ABOUT SOME MORE CAPTIONS?????
