George W. Bush at 71% Approval Rating

George W. Bush at 71% Approval Rating Troubleshooting 50 posts Mar 31, 2003 — Apr 2, 2003
A recent Gallup poll says Bush has a 71% Approval Rating now.

And liberals would have you believe that most people are against the war.

The fact is people support the war because they know the cause is just and that the Commander-In-Chief truly believes this is the right thing to do.

Or because they know the troops are committed and now support them. Similar polls indicate similar things in the UK.

But even before the war started, the polls were at around 65%ish pro-Bush.
Totally off topic -

But last night's Dragnet had an ex-cop turned security consultant who'd name was Matt Margolis.

I couldn't figure out where I'd heard that name before, until I read this post...
THIS JUST IN: GALLUP CONFIRMS!
AMERICA HAS COME TO ITS SENSES!!! REST OF THE WORLD TO FOLLOW!
GWB IS THE CHRIST!
Really. Is this not just the same big ole half inflated beach ball that we KEEP kicking around?!

I say again... your party controls the entire government. Bully for you. What purpose does it serve to keep SAYING it? Have we not gone through this 150 times already? Have you nothing BETTER to do? Have we not already gone over this poll thing ad NAUSEUM?!?! For christ's sake people, a little ORIGINALITY!
I am SO looking forward to seeing how you handle failure- because it is NOT an "if", you know... it is a "when". ALL of them do fall eventually. I suppose you'll just start blaming then.
For ****S sake, get OVER it already and post something of IMPORT or at least humor.

I guess Maxelson is PMSing today. I think he need to go back to the flame festival thread and vent a little.

Everyone knows the libs go crazy like this because they cant control their emotions. They dont act on logic so therefore the onlything they know how to do is protest, cry, and make fals statements. Its really sad.
The most crazed religious fanatic argues in more calm and reasoned tones than liberals.

Not very relevant since 1) polls are notoriously unscientific and open to various forms of manipulation 2) even if it were true it would only prove that the average american is brainwashed by the mass media spew they are spoon fed on TV.

I am humbled by the painfully obvious presence of superiority here.
Hey, fxbezak! Tell me more about my political leanings! Really! I am on the verge of satori over here!

WHY am I PMSing on this?
Well, 1) I got Tool on the itunes and it is fuelling me SO nicely and
b) one of those things I have noted about party loyalists (besides the fact that they can only see their way through to vote party line regardless of their conscience - QUITE lazy, really) is that they claim all the credit when things go their way and pass all the blame when they don't. No one is responsible. Ever.
So- if the economy stays in a pit for 10 years, the Republicans will blame the liberals. It recovers, and they take the credit... and blame the liberals for making it take so long.
If the war goes badly, it is because the liberals did something to blow it.
You get the idea. Same goes for the other side of the political spectrum.
I find it petty, lazy and downright unpatriotic.

This from the man who posts the following drivel on his site:

"Welcome to the Conservative Front Line. Currently this site is under construction and there will soon be great volumes of information for you to enjoy. This page is dedicated to the war on Liberalism and how conservatives are constantly on the front line of a war fighting for our freedoms, values, rights and morality against the liberal left nation.

This site will be dedicated to the advancement of Conservative ideals, including preservation of The English Language, The American Way of Life, Culture and preservation there of.

We as an a culture of American people need to preserve our culture and be proud of who we are, as is done in other cultures that have been around for hundreds and sometimes thousands of years. Liberals in our beloved United States of America feel we should have a utopian, open borders, blameless society. You should be proud of who you are and your heritage, and you should protect the country you were born in.

This Site Focuses on:

How liberals and the liberal mind set are infecting our nation

How Liberal ideals are being forced upon one of our greatest treasures as humans, our children

How liberalism is corrupting the greatest and strongest nation in the world to turn it into a utopian politically correct melting pot

How your money is your money, not the governments money and why liberals don't want you to have it.

Many more...

I am Currently Looking for information for this site. If you have an example of Liberalism in your neighborhood or find a link or story you think should appear here please send it to me and I will gladly put it up. This site is still in the very development stages. Things you may want to send: Links, Articles, Photos, Editorials written by you, etc
So. Is he a conservative, you think?
After re reading the little bit there, I have to say NO. He isn't. What he's spouting got NOTHING to do with Republicanism.
... "a utopian politically correct melting pot"? I'm DYING to hear what THAT means (and what I'll be accused of being for asking the question).

You know what Max? I've got no problem with conservatives. At all. People like Simey, I like. Disagree with, frequently, but like and respect. No problem there.

Sites like conservativefrontline on the other hand make me retch. Sickening, intolerant, hate filled drivel. Language designed to inflame rather then encourage understanding. Polarization being touted as being desirable. Blatant lies sold as facts. Attempts to learn from past mistakes being spat upon

Jackboots marching past my window at midnight.

And here it is. You demand respect for your POV and yet you deride those who have a different viewpoint. See, to me, it is what makes this country what it is- the "melting pot" of people, ideas, ideologies. To you, it seems to be a hinderance. and no, the little winky thing does not seem to soften that sentiment.

I too have no problem with conservatism. I too have no problem with Republicans. It is those who run about declaring "The Truth" that gives conservatism a bad name.
Thank you for all visiting my site

I appreciate it.

I'm gonna log that one away.

Oh I get it, anyone that doesn't agree with you is brainwashed.

Actually, whether or not they agree with me is irrelevant to them being brainwashed.
Saddam's 'approval' ratings in Iraq is 100%. so whats your point ?

How very scientific of you! That's not a nonfalsifiable thesis or anything! My first instinct is to ask you to make sure that you aren't the brainwashed one, but I know your type (judging purely from this post of course). You think that you are thinking critically on the subjects at hand, but really you are just discrediting everything in your own mind. People do this at my school all the time. Lots of criticism but very little constructive commenting. The political world would be a whole lot nicer if we said/posted things more like, "So-And-So made this policy change and it may have had this effect that's good, but I think that the adverse side-effects are more dangerous than the benefits. We should try this policy instead - you know the one touted by This-And-That." What a lovely, mature, and helpful political culture that would be.

Tool is solid. I'm not a huge hard rock/metal fan (U2, Radiohead, Phish, DMB-type stuff for me), but unlike many bands in that genre, Tool IMHO has some awesome creativity, and all their albums rock.

Deftones' 'Around the Fur' is another hard album I like.

FYI: Radiohead's upcoming "Hail to the Thief" album was just leaked on the net. Some cool stuff. You can likely find a download source here: AtEaseWeb.com Radiohead forums or, by now, via your favorite file-sharing program.

Sorry to derail.
Nono! More than happy to derail. I must thank our friend Phil for turning me on to Tool. I never would have done it on my own (he looks out for me like that).
The musicianship of these guys is astonishing. And the music is different.

No you are basically saying because they don't agree with what you think is going on, they are brainwashed.

It's nonsense. US Americans DO think for ourselves.

Surprise Surprise.

I am a individual, just like everyone else.
