Anyone read "The Da Vinci Code"?

Just thought i aught to add my two cents to it. This book is absolutely brilliant. i find myself looking up da vinci's work and european maps and pictures of signifigant buildings on the net almost constantly. Very well written book, and highly recommended. i havent finished reading the book yet, but i must say this book really does grab you.

I read the first few chapters and couldn't believe my eyes. Oh how that book sucks. I closed it and probably won't finish it. I'll wait for the movie or something.

voodoo, get the spanish edition, the cover is nicer, so far, that the american one. Really easy to read.

very true. i was walking around the lourve, when i was in paris a few weeks ago, and people were standing in front of da vinci's "madonna of the rocks" and you can hear whispers about the book. was amusing.



i agree. angels and demons was my favorite.



i got some photos of these when i went to paris. the big inverted pyramid and small one look very cool.

If you want a nice conspiracy book, try "Foucault's Pendulum" by Umberto Eco. You will not regret it.

Good read but not something you can really read over and over. You do have to take it lightly because a lot of what he says is factual is not and the stuff he says is fiction is largely borrowed from other books and compiled.

The DaVinci Code was a great read for me, and I rarely (if ever) read fiction.

I read it in 3 evenings, and on the 2nd and 3rd days, I was anticipating all day my quiet evening time when I could sit down and pound out some more pages.

Recommended.

Outstanding book. Take it for what its worth. Its only a story, and a guys beliefs.

Yeah, same here. i was on the bus going to work today morning, and saw 2 other ppl on the bus here in Perth, reading it. i had it in my bag. I get to work, and every break i had, i had to pick it up. Just couldnt wait to get back home and just read it...but gotta do homework first .

Im definately going to pick up Dan Browns others works next.

I was actually in Rome on holiday when I read Angels and Demons, I didnt do it on purpose but it was pretty cool to read part of the book and then see it in person the next day.

i'm just starting to read it. Its pretty intelligent and awesome so far!
