My dad still has the Orange Crate. He was going to try to sell it on eBay. I guess there are collectors.

It doesn't bug me though, except when they criminally under-utilize people like Issac Hayes. Like he doesn't have something interesting to say about the 70's?

I've been seeing commercials now for "I Love the 80's Strikes Back". Anybody know what this is? My guess is that it's another 10 episodes about the 80's covering stuff that wasn't covered the first time.

Of course, it could just be the same 10 episodes played again.

Oh and I'm a child of the 80's and the 80's ruled.

And why do they all think that everything was inspired by marijuana?

Except for Scott Ian. He's cool. (And he doesn't try too hard to be funny.)

I saw a lot of violence and racism in the 70s. I grew up on the King's Road in Chelsea. My dad and uncles literally owned all the properties on King's Road and Carnaby Street at the time. I remember the punks were pretty racist against Asians and Afro-Carribbeans. I remember skinheads like the Chelsea Boys used to cut people up. It was a fairly dismal and grey period.

The people I did like at the time were the Mods who were like Neo-Romantics riding around on Italian scooters. And the Rastafarians. I used to see Bob Marley walking around for a few months. He was nice to me even though I was scared of his long hair at first. There were some gurus with long hair I was cared of too because I thought they ate children. I also remember Richard Branson when he was young and only had a small record store. My uncle knew him well. I think they still talk.

I love watching them as well. I was born in 73, and remember it enough to enjoy it.

I Love the 80s - Great stuff, really funny.
I Love the 70s - Sucked
I Love the 80s Strikes Back - some good stuff, but not so good
I Love the 90s - Even funnier than the first I Love the 80s
