loosing virginity Troubleshooting 50 posts Dec 30, 2003 — Jan 2, 2004
We were both 16, and it happened in the woods behind my house, on a soft and comfy patch of moss.
It was incredibly exciting and scary and (in retrospect) rather comical. It was the first time for both of us, and nervousness and inexperience combined to make us pretty clumsy about the whole process.
I was 14 and my cat was 6

Still have the claw, then?

This reminds me of a very sick joke about sex, a hamster and why duct tape is needed.

:ucks::

Bad experience. Thought it was a person I loved and would spend the rest of my life with. Turns out I was wrong, now I just don't give a **** anymore.

I'm easy now. Thats changing in the new year.

Chris

I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience Chris. I trully hope that this will be a better year. Hopefully you will find that someone special.

Not doubting the validity of the story, but that sure sounds like a scene from American Pie (although I guess Rollingardener didn't lose his virginity till later)

So true, and you don't even know what happened thereafter...

But let's not get into that.

I thought an interesting thread would be about loosing virginity. Maybe not. I lost my virginity on a school trip to Greece when i was 16. I had been drinking heavily and dabbling in other substances all through out the trip, when all the sudden a classmate of mine was all over me one night at a hotel in Athens.
Every-night from then on we progressed in our hooking up, until the last night came when "bam" it happened. Man was i nervous...and drunk. I was literally shaking throughout the experience, and at the same time overly excited (no pun intended). anyway we actually still keep in contact to this day, and every-once in a while we get together. Overall, good first experience, i guess...

Was he gentle?
All I remember for my first time was the rug burn... Yeeeeeeow.

as for loose/lose and other spelling and grammer...get over it cuz not everyone here uses english as a first language. go to a german forum and see how you make out.

Well, if I was in a German forum, I would want someone to correct my spelling and grammar. When I learn a new language, I generally want to improve. That means other people pointing out my mistakes. I would welcome it.

Speaking a foreign language is no excuse. We shouldn't let mistakes slide. Correct them, don't be an asshole about it, and move on. I don't see a problem in that.

Regardless, do you think all of the spelling and grammar mistakes in forums are a result of foreign posters? People are lazy and don't want to learn or improve. Spelling and grammar skills online are pathetic. It makes people appear stupid. Good communication skills allows you to get your point across more eloquently and often carries more influence.

Unfortunately, too many people online don't care anymore. If there are no "grammar police" around, we'll all be reduced to a series of grunts in a few decades.
I lost my virginity to the FireWire port on my Mac...
hayesk, your name isn't even in the english dictionary!

Well since everyone else is making up stories...

We were both 25, in an Italian bistro... she dragged me into a broom closet and we tore off each-other's close as if each of us were brand new iBooks... needless to say the start up noises soon brought us some unwanted attention and we were thrown out onto the street... we still talk sometimes... although we've taken to trying places other than restaurants

Close == clothes.

Making up stories? Just because you haven't yet, doesn't mean others haven't.

And if you're gonna make one up... make it younger than 25.
nice cypher
I disagree with hayesk completely. I think that if someone makes a spelling mistake, but you understand what they were trying to say, let it go. Some people are just too anal about things.
Yes, but the 'loose' as opposed to 'lose' mistake is a particular bugbear for many people, including myself.
Bad spelling reflects on the content of a post.

isnt the punch line to that something like :

so they dont explode.

i love that joke.

my loss story is a graphic tale my friends love to hear me tell at the bar. however many find it quite disturbing. to sum up: i was 15, she was 16. her "aunt flo" was visiting, nobody told me. i gasped in horror when the light was turned back on.

you can fill in the rest, i dont feel like getting banned today.
