Awesome find! Yea I got two Pismos (since sold one) that were both DOA but I unplugged the PRAM battery and they work! The 500 mHz's are the best and harder to find, congrats!

Dead Pismo! — #2

Remove the PRAM battery. It may be too dead and will cause it to not boot. Just remove the keyboard and the CD/DVD drive and you will see it on the right hand side.

ADC display for a Power Mac G3 — #18

The limit of ADC is the single-link DVI resolution of 1920x1200. Power isn't the limit, Apple had a 17" CRT that ran off ADC. (By the way, the power isn't being supplied over the…

ADC display for a Power Mac G3 — #17

ADC was doomed from the start because it powered the monitor. That means laptop users have to buy bulky extrenally-powered converter boxes and it also means yet-more auxiliary powe…

G4 MDD 1.25Ghz — #10

I don't think "HD 1080" and "G4" can be said in the same sentence; you basically need an Intel Mac to do this sort of stuff. Still, it makes for a wonderful server/general use mac…

G4 MDD 1.25Ghz — #9

They can handle HD right? If so then that could be a set top box. Put 3 500GB drives and you're set. :beige:

ADC display for a Power Mac G3 — #16

It was a good idea, but it can't be in sizes larger than 22" iirc, but I absolutely love my 17" adc.

7100 vs 6100 — #16

That shouldn't be a problem. I've got a box here with darn near 100 sticks of 72-pin RAM. Should the OP need some, I am more than sure could dig him up a pair of matched 32MB or ma…

Leopard should run just fine on that card. While the Ti3200 is indeed far faster and a more capable GPU than the Rage128 card it came with, I am concerned that it may not support c…
