Why don't you try to fix it? The iMac are very easy to fix. Do you have an idea of what is wrong with it? Don't scrap it, it may just be the PAV board.
Nah, they were all grey bits, there was one bit of black plastic, still, I'm happy to have pulled the RAM out of it, 2x256MB sticks, wow. Dunno what to do with the rest of it. iM…

Check the speaker connections/try swapping the speaker units around.
If there is no change, everything might be due for a cap replacement. trag sells complete IIci kits though.
The Bernoulii wasn't really all that rare and was actually a slightly better technology than Syquest's.
