Widget drive — #48

What the heck are you displaying that on? The picture is too dark to tell but it doesn't look like a Lisa, even with the front bezel missing.

Widget drive — #46

I thought your Lisa had no logic/mother board? Edit: I love Lisas, but I cannot justify spending US$1000 on a computer I can't upgrade/repair (10 000 volts on a CRT).

47Hz: which makes sense, in order to bring the line frequency back into the correct range, you have to lower the refresh rate. Higher refresh rates require a faster beam to scan th…

The Ultimate List of Compact Mac Variations — #41

I would think that IF a platinum face plate exists from the original design it would be an ED model sold in Europe. Seems education models had the most variants over there. I almos…

The Ultimate List of Compact Mac Variations — #40

Fair enough, I've never seen reference to a platinum original face plate or bezel and (sorry) am not convinced it exists, would love to be proved wrong (gives me another variant to…

The Ultimate List of Compact Mac Variations — #39

Only in rumor and conjecture does an original face-plate design exist in platinum. Same for the original keyboard (without numeric pad). That is not to say they do not exist, just …

One of these days... when I get time... HAHAHAHAAHA.... I need to go through and compare the two analog boards and figure out the differences.

512k Prototype? — #9

OK, good to know.  I just wanted to make sure I wasn't messing up a prototype before I started stealing parts.

512k Prototype? — #8

Datecodes make it seem unlikely to be a prototype. The 512K was released in '84 but the IC date codes there are all from late 1985, such as 8547, 8543, 8598 and another 8543.

Well in theory only the mobo could be a proto. The rest would not be, just an unlabeled case.
