I didnt need that extension to connect to my iMac. But oops: i forgot TCP/IP... Do I want to connect via AppleTalk or Ethernet? My AppleTalk is set to EtherTalk, so i'm not sure.

Panther is faster than Jaguar. On an iMac G3 700 MHz, I would recommend upgrading. This upgrade would unlock the ability to use more recent browsers, such as the latest Camino.
