Since my son put his iPod through the wash (details in another post) there is no backlight. Can this be fixed? Is it as simple and changig a globe or is it worse than that? Thanks…

You can read the rumor sites. Nobody who is actually using 10.4.7 can comment on what's new, per the Apple developer NDA.
