I'm looking at 3 star places in New York now on www.expedia.ca or www.hotels.com and they seem to be going for about the $120 to $140 range, if I book 3 consecutive nights, although parking is $20-30 extra.

So I booked the Hotel Edison right in the Theater District in New York.

It came to about US$145 per night tax included (or about US$120ish before taxes).

Go to the Apple stores, hope they have iPod mini's, buy lots, then sell them for a ton in Canada.
