Oh. And instant bans for anyone flaming the religion or trolling. But make sure you're not banning anyone who has genuine questions.

As opposed to a muslim forum, where one would get a virtual fatwa delivered to your email account, with a threat of possible beheading.

I got yelled at on my fave band's forum for telling someone that her assumption apparently only made an ass out of her. The funny thing is though, they have someone who preaches what she believes and she's a "Wiccan Christian" I asked her how she feels about the fact that her two deities hate each-other.
Now she's begun threatening me, apparently she thinks because I've told her she's an idiot (she is) that she can get the Canadian police to throw me in jail for hate speech. I told her there were so many problems with her threat I didn't know where to begin... and that I wasn't entirely afraid seeing as how my sister is doing her law articling at one of the best defence firms in the city.

Anyway currently the moderator of said forum is mad at me for arguing with the woman (stay at home mom, apparently bi polar, and I assume other things, extremely VIOLENT tendencies...). I'm tempted to ask the guy if he's an idiot or just stupid however, because this is actually not even the second time the woman has seriously threatened forum members.

I don't go to christian sites of any kind, most are highly biased and quite misguided. Disagree and they try to take what you said out of context to prove you are devil-spawn.

As for Wicca it's view of the ultimate being and creator is INCREDIBLY different from the Christian one. I'm not sure of much on the Wiccan side but the Christian God makes it clear that He hates the idea of other deities who would be worshipped by humans.

Thus unless you throw out a good chunk of each religion or pervert your understanding of them beyond recognition you can't merge the two. The idea of smogousborg religions is irritating if not idiotic.

I don't know as much about Wicca as I'd like to (hey I'll learn after I learn php )

However from discussing with my Wiccan friends in high school (yes I know most wiccans would sigh at the mention of kids in high school.) There is at least the Goddess, who while I can't exactly talk to Wiccan doctrine, if you're also claiming Christianity (which I know a lot more about believe it or not) God makes it clear that He is at war with any other gods/goddesses, granted He doesn't say they actually exist, thus He hates the very idea of other deities.

And I imagine the Wiccan Goddess wouldn't take to kindly to someone else saying that nobody should love her, and that she had no hand in creation

I know you joke but another forum I went to awhile back decided to troll a extreme muslim forum that was celebrating the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. You had to register. Which means email accounts were used to do so.

Well after the trollings, each person that participated got a nasty email threatening retaliation "Like you have never seen"

We eventually got ahold of the ISP it was hosted on and got it shut down.
