Not bad, not bad.
That's not much of a Web site. (Course, it's too early to have anything more than a teaser site up; still gotta sell them Game Boy Advance games.)

But does this mean that DS is the name the system will be marketed as? At E3, they said that it would have a different name when it was released.
My vote is for Nintendo GameMan
So it has wifi built-in? That's cool.
Have a more reliable Web site with the same info? I'm surprised they're not calling it Game Boy DS. It seemed to me that Nintendo had backed away from previous statements that the DS wasn't the Game Boy Advance successor.

EDIT: Never mind.
I still like the PSP better. Analog controller, wider screen.

So you tried it out?
Wow...

The new DS design is DAMN sexy.
i think it looks pretty cool. now with stereo sound!

it looks sorta big to me. but i guess thats just the ol "picture with nothing to compare it to" thing.

i thought the GBA was going to be big until i saw it. its probably about that size, eh?

planetgamecube.com posted some large sized images.

Well, no more than the N fanboys that didn't try the DS

It's slightly larger than the original GBA, so not very big at all. But, damn, that design looks way better than the sample model at E3they certainly came through on that. Awesome. I'm a little bummed they didn't put an analogue stick on there, but oh well. Still psyched about it. Wish it would come out already! I held out on a GBA SP Classic for so long now just to get the DS instead, but the battle is tough.

The final PSP design looks sweet, too. Can't wait to try that out.

I wonder how Nintendo's going to work in their next Game Boy system into the product line. Will the GBA SP just be phased out in favor of the DSsince it plays GBA gamesand then introduce the next generation of Game Boy? Can I have a DS Classic, please?

Well, if people here attended E3 this year, they very well may have tried the DS. The PSP on the other hand, well, wasn't playable for many people there. Sony liked the idea of showing no games up and running on the floor, and keeping several units behind glass playing movies.

I personally didn't have time to play the DS, had too many things to take care of. The general impression I ght from my friend though was that it was very innovative for how it used different control inputs. Hard to say if this will sell or not, but I do give Nintendo credit for trying something new.

my thoughts exactly.
It's like a hybrid of the original and sp.
The PSP looks boring, and it's going to be more expensive. Besides, does it play GS or AW2? No. The only thing Sony is good for is making Studio Monitor headphones.
Hmmm, I gota say this looks good, might actually buy one.

Wonder how long till Nintendo makes the Nintendo game store. They have so many remakes of old games, if this thing can run N64 games and what not, they should seriously consider making a ROM store online like the iTMS. Heck... they could even get Apple to help em... think about it... Apple and Nintendo... the nifty aluminum products they could make!
I REALLY Like the redesign. It's cleaner looking and less clumsy.. spiffy.
I look forward to buying one of these
Sonic games for the DS? Count me in!

(I hope they make the genesis games for it!! o_O) <-- that'd be bitchin.
Sonic compilation would be cool.
Yeah! What I can hardly wait to see is how stuff like racing games embrace the dual screens. I *HOPE* they don't use the second screen for a map, since that could better be used for stuff like other views, and have the HUD up there too
I imagine developers have a bunch of cool **** planned for the dual screens. Man, I'm psyched. Castlevania!!!1
New glamor shot of the DS. Yum.

that's a good question. maybe it like the play button on an ipod and you have to hold it down for a bit.

yeh, I was thinking that too. I would accidentally hit it. I still think its chunky and ugly. It doesnt have that little bit of class like the PSP does.
I think it's a well designed system.

Naturally you are a fool if you don't wait until it's properly reviewed...
I also like everything about the PSP more.
