Is it me or does all the blogging software just stink?

iBlog is the single most horrible blog app available!
Moveable Type is supposed to be quite good, but much more difficult to set up. I prefer WordPress you upload the files to your site, edit 3 lines of code to configure your MySQL database info and you're done. With iPowerWeb as my hosting service, setting up MySQL database was as easy as entering a name and password.
You want easy!? Use Rapdiweaver! I know it's not billed as blogging software but it feels like the missing iApp when it comes to publishing a site! Try out the demo at least!
Rapidweaver
As for hosting, I'd try Globat -- 5GB storage, 75GB transfer and 24/7 PHONE support!

As I said above, I tried RapidWeaver. Needs improvement.
Also, I said that I got WordPress working. I'm sticking with that for now.

is developed out of Korea by an incredibly nice and helpful one Youngho Kim. The only problems I've had with it are .Mac and iDisk, but as far as blogging software, I feel it is extremely good. It is quite flexible, non web-based.
As soon as as I have time to change a tiny bit of code recently broken by Apple, my blog will be back up and i, too, will blog again.
your question is "what works good with OSX?" because you obviously have an ISP.
i suggest, with some trepidation, you attempt a free .Mac trial anyway, and blogwave studio from www,littlehj.com.
ps. iblog stinks. my iblog ate itself.

try www.blosxom.com but you'll have to run ıt from your mac's apache server to generate the html. frankly, gettıng a apache/perl/php enabled server ıs totally worth ıt or otherwıse go for blogger and redırect your domaın name
iBlog ain't so bad, i've done some interesting thing with it. I has the best template support for this sort of "offline" blogging app. But it has a lot of limitiations compared to software that can be controlled by a sever (of course if they don't come out w/ ver 2 anytime soon I may switch over to MT or WP). Also see my review of BlogWave Studio.
If you did decided to use iBlog, you can convert your posts to MovableType/Wordpress pretty easily.

What need improvement in Rapidweaver? They released an update just a few weeks ago and have another release coming up! I've found Dan and Simon (the two developers) to be Very fast at adding features that I've requested.
Just a thought.

I know this is slightly off-topic but I'm trying to get started blogging and someone earlier mentioned redirecting. I've registered with DynDNS and I can't figure out how to tell it to redirect my domain name to my school webhost. I would rather use my allocated school webspace than pay for webhosting. Can anyone direct me to some detailed instructions on how to set up redirecting your domain using a dynamic DNS service?
Thanks very much,
Frege
