Complete Breakthrough is a fan-authored scenario pack for the Macintosh edition of Wolfenstein 3D, the era when MacPlay's port shipped with an open scenario format that let players build whole new campaigns. It loads as an alternative map set on top of the base game rather than as a standalone executable.
What is a Wolf 3D scenario
Mac Wolfenstein 3D used external scenario files containing maps, sprites, and sounds. Authors could publish full replacement campaigns without redistributing the engine, and Complete Breakthrough is one such third-party set preserved on Macintosh Garden.
How to run it
The scenario expects an installed copy of Mac Wolfenstein 3D. Drop the scenario folder alongside the game, launch Wolfenstein, and select the scenario from its in-game loader. It runs on 68k and PowerPC Macs and inside SheepShaver or Basilisk II.
Preservation note
Like most Mac Wolfenstein scenarios, the package is small but depends on the long-out-of-print MacPlay release of Wolfenstein 3D being present; the scenario file alone will not boot.
