Treasure Hunt is a fan-made scenario for Wolfenstein 3D, built on the Macintosh by L. Rojas using Greg Ewing's WolfEdit level editor. It packages a custom map set that drops into either the shareware Third Encounter release or the commercial version of Wolfenstein 3D, extending the Mac port with new corridors to clear and loot to grab.
What you get
The download is a scenario file rather than a standalone game. It plugs into an existing Wolfenstein 3D install and replaces the maps with the author's hand-built treasure run.
Compatibility
The author specifies that Treasure Hunt works with both Third Encounter (the Mac shareware episode) and the full commercial Mac release of Wolfenstein 3D.
Tools
The scenario was authored in WolfEdit, Greg Ewing's well-known Macintosh editor for the id Software / MacPlay port, which lets fans build new maps, place enemies, and tune objects.
Distribution
The file was submitted to Info-Mac by filmman@pacificnet.net and is preserved in the games/com/wolf section of the archive.
