This is a community scenario pack for TacOps, the turn-based tactical wargame by I.L. Holdridge published by Arsenal Publishing in 1994. Uploaded to Info-Mac by Louis Moreau in November 1994, the self-extracting archive bundles home-made scenarios and a custom map for use with the full retail release.
About TacOps
TacOps simulates fictional NATO versus OPFOR engagements with detailed treatment of line of sight, weapon ranges, armor, and unit movement, going well beyond the abstraction of mainstream wargames of its era.
Scenario-Specific AI
Rather than generic decision rules, TacOps drives its opponent with tactical instructions tailored to each scenario, which makes high-quality user-built scenarios particularly valuable.
Pack Contents
The grp1 archive contains a set of player-designed scenarios plus one custom map, packaged as a Mac self-extracting binary for drop-in use with the TacOps scenarios folder.
Requirements
Requires the full TacOps release; the demo version cannot load these scenarios.
