Lingotto is an Italian-language SuperEnalotto lottery system builder for classic Mac OS, designed to make it dramatically easier to construct, constrain, and validate the kind of complex multi-column number systems that serious Italian lotto syndicates trade in around the weekly draw - a niche but deeply specialised piece of Mac shareware.
What it does
According to the program's own documentation, Lingotto 1.6 lets players build systems combining anywhere from 6 to 90 numbers, with constraints applied per column for sum, symmetries, parallels, interruptions, super-interruptions, lower and upper distances, tens, finals, odd/even balance, constrained groups, and consecutivity. Wrong conditions can be recovered an unlimited number of times, and reduction tools target second- and third-category wins.
Output and workflow
Built systems can be combined by union, intersection, difference, or inversion; printed as plain columns or directly onto official SuperEnalotto play slips; exported as plain text; or checked after a draw to see whether the system has won.
Version 2.0.1 requirements
Lingotto 2.0.1 requires Mac OS 8.1 with CarbonLib 1.0.4, a PowerPC processor, at least 4 MB of RAM available to the application, and 4 MB of free disk space. Full documentation is supplied in Italian; the developers offered English information on request.
