Clue Deluxe Bw is the black-and-white sibling release of the Macintosh edition of Clue Deluxe, the computerized version of Hasbro's classic murder-mystery board game. This build trades the color presentation of its companion release for a one-bit palette suited to early compact Macs and other monochrome displays.
About this release
This entry is the dedicated B&W variant of Clue Deluxe, packaged separately so that owners of monochrome Macintoshes - SE, Plus, Classic and similar - can play without dithering artifacts or color-mode juggling.
Gameplay
As in the boxed board game, players move suspects around the rooms of Boddy Mansion, suggest combinations of weapon, room and culprit, and use the responses of other players to deduce the solution to the murder.
Sibling release
A color sibling, simply listed as Clue Deluxe, exists as a separate Macintosh Garden entry; this B&W build is the appropriate choice for monochrome hardware and emulators configured to one-bit output.
